Projektbeschreibung :
Due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and the increased prevalence of working from home, both the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA) and other scientific institutions are increasingly focusing on the topic of mobile and multi-local working. The aim of the project is to debate the results of project F 2519 "Flexible working: Ensuring safety and health holistically" in expert discussions with the occupational science community and bundle current research on mobile and multi-local work with a view to occupational safety and health.
For this purpose, five expert panel discussions take place during the course of the project, in which the participants will discuss and classify the results from the research of BAuA as well as from other institutions in the German-speaking area. The topics of the expert discussions will include
-
the mobility design (e.g. change, frequency) of hybrid work,
-
the designability of work at different locations,
-
the requirements for team and self-organisation as well as virtual communication
-
task-technology fit in hybrid work, and
-
special challenges for occupational safety and health.
In addition, opportunities for initiating new research projects and collaborations will likely emerge.
The organisation, moderation and documentation of the expert discussions will be the main responsibility of one of the participating BAuA units on a rotating basis. The results of each expert discussion are prepared and published promptly in the baua: Focus format with the participation of the invited experts.
