Projektbeschreibung :
In Germany, as in many other European countries, employers are legally obliged to reduce psychosocial risks at work. However, there is a lack of empirical knowledge about what enterprises and more particularly small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are actually doing in this respect.
Therefore, the aim of this research project is to increase the knowledge of the current psychosocial risk management of SMEs in Germany. For this purpose, a representative company survey will be carried out. Based on the obtained data, the operational practice of psychosocial risk management in SMEs will be analysed with regard to the following aspects:
- prevalence of psychosocial risk management in SMEs;
- concrete measures taken to manage psychosocial risks;
- persons responsible in the company;
- problems and needs of support;
- typical structures and preconditions of psychosocial risk management.
The findings will enable to improve recommendations for company practice, to target advisory and support activities and to identify intervention needs in SMEs.
