The safe filling of bulk materials

Stationary filling of bulk materials in jerrycans, sacks and big bags at a filling station

The containers to be filled are positioned under the dosing device at the filling station. A balance or quantity dispenser is used to ensure the correct amount of the bulk material is dispensed. The engineering control measures looked at below minimise the amount of dust released into the workplace air. After they have been filled, the containers are sealed and set aside for collection or removed from the work area using a roller conveyor.
