Description:

These days, many employees see flexible working outside the office as part of everyday life. Working from home in particular, has become common practice in many professions in recent years. This has also broadened the perspective of occupational science and produced a wide range of research approaches and findings in recent years.

This project aimed to promote exchange within the occupational science community and to pool current research on hybrid, location-flexible, and multi-local forms of work in German-speaking countries,with a particular focus on occupational safety. At the heart of the project were five two-day dialogue events. at which experts from the scientific community presented their current research projects. All contributions and results of the discussion formats were published in baua: Fokus publications. The project concluded with a closing event in Berlin in November 2025, which specifically expanded the previous dialogue format: in addition to scientists, the event was also aimed at stakeholders from politics and practice.
